Registration Terms & Conditions

Payment & VAT

In accordance with Italian law, a 22% VAT will be applied to all registration fees for events held in Italy, regardless of the participant’s country of origin (within or outside the EU). Delegates from VAT-registered entities may recover the paid VAT through their own tax declaration procedures.

All delegates are required to complete payment prior to the event to avoid delays in badge collection and access to conference materials. No badges or materials will be issued to delegates with outstanding payments.

To support VAT recovery where eligible, upon request SICREA SRL (Professional Congress Organizer of the event) will issue a VAT invoice or receipt showing:

• SICREA’s VAT registration details
• the VAT rate and VAT amount charged
• the taxable value and total paid
• the bill-to customer details used at registration

Registration Categories

The EuroMediterranean Water Forum offers reduced registration rates according to the following categories and deadlines (all fees are VAT excluded):

The Registration Fee Includes:

• Access to the event
• Entry to all conference sessions
• Coffee breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon – afternoon not included on 2nd October 2026)
• Conference bag

Additional Purchase Options

The registration platform includes additional purchase options, such as the Gala Dinner Reservation.

Registration Verification

Reduced registration categories (Less Developed Countries, Student) are subject to verification. Proof of eligibility must be provided during registration (e.g., student ID, personal ID).

If the documentation is not valid or incomplete, participants will be required to complete the payment of the outstanding balance via bank transfer by 22nd September 2026.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing at info@euromedwaterforum.com

Cancellations received on or before 8th September 2026 (end of business day, CET) will be eligible for a refund of 80% of the total amount paid (net of VAT).

No refunds or cancellations will be issued after 8th September 2026.

The organisers will not issue refunds for travel disruptions, visa refusals, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

Participants are strongly encouraged to arrange personal travel and health insurance to cover potential contingencies.

Substitutions

A paid registrant may be replaced by a colleague from the same organisation, provided that the organisers are notified via email at info@euromedwaterforum.com no later than 22nd September 2026. This substitution applies exclusively to the conference registration and does not cover travel, accommodation, or any other personal arrangements. No additional costs will be applied for the substitution.

Travel and Accommodation

All participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, and local transportation. Citizens of certain countries may be required to obtain a visa prior to arrival; please check with the nearest Italian consulate or embassy. The organisers are not responsible for visa issues, travel delays, or accommodation arrangements. Special accommodation rates for EuroMediterranean Water Forum participants are available through the official booking platform accessible on the conference website.

Liability

Programme Changes: For organizational reasons or due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control, EuroMediterranean Water Forum reserves the right to modify the timing, content, or structure of the programme at any time without prior notice.

Event Cancellation and Insurance: In case of government restrictions, force majeure, or other events that render EuroMediterranean Water Forum impossible or inadvisable to hold as planned, participants waive any claims for damages or compensation other than the refund of registration fees minus any non-refundable costs already incurred.

All participants attend the conference at their own risk. The organisers, their suppliers, and agents accept no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during travel or participation in EuroMediterranean Water Forum. Participants are advised to obtain adequate travel, health, and accident insurance prior to departure.
